I’m having a new organ piece being performed in Brooklyn Heights this Friday, March 16th at 7:30pm. Admission is $10. On the bill are other great composers such as Corey Dargel, Wil Smith, Paula Matthusen, Orlando Jacinto García, Eric KM Clark, and Irene Buckley. Video Artist, Nathan Selikoff, will also be there projecting some amazing videos. Please come out if you can! where: First Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn 124 Henry St, Brooklyn Heights 2/3 to Clark St; A/C to High St; R/4/5 to Court St/Borough Hall when: Friday, March 16th at 7:30pm Admission is $10 at the door. Proud to say that I was awarded the 2011 Frances E. Osborne Kellogg Memorial Prize. The award is for the best composition written in a contrapuntal style. I guess my plan for ‘blanket’ worked after all! For more information about other awards the Yale School of Music offers, click here.
